Dr. Mykola Rudyk
"Whatever you do, do it well"
Dr. Mykola Rudyk holds a Certificate in Advanced Education in Genaral Dentistry from Marquette University School of Dentistry, Milwaukee, WI. He is committed to the pursuit of learning and has completed Advanced Care Fellowship at Marquette University where he received advanced training in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, implant dentistry, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, endodontics and digital dentistry.
Dr. Rudyk earned his Doctorate degree in Dentistry from the Ivano-Frankivsk State Medical University (Ukraine), where he graduated with honors in 2008, followed by residency in Oral&Maxillofacial Surgery. After completing his residency training he worked as an Oral Surgeon at Ternopil University Hospital and as Assistant Professor in Oral&Maxillofacial Surgery at Ternopil State Medical University. Dr. Rudyk also earned Marter's Degree in Public Service and Administration from IFNTUOG Institute of Humanities and Public Administration.
In addition to the clinical practice, Dr. Rudyk is actively involved with academic education. Currently, he holds a position as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, Downers Grove, IL where he provides clinical training for dental students and prepares them utilizing evidence-based approach and the most innovative technologies in dentistry.
He takes a unique approach to dentistry by focusing on each patient individually. Dr. Rudyk’s greatest sense of accomplishment and delight comes from his profession and his patients. He enjoys watching his patients grow in confidence, achieve a healthy and functional smile and learn to trust rather than fear dentistry. Dr. Rudyk showed early interest in Art and and completed 4-years Digital Design coursework at Ternopil Art School. He enjoys art and embraces his love for art with every restoration he creates.
Dr. Rudyk believes strongly in giving back to the community and participates in an annual “Heal Elgin Clinic” event, providing free dental care to underserved population.
When he is not caring for patients, he is a passionate fisherman and enjoys various outdoor recreational activities with his wife Maria and their lovely daughter Mary.
Dr. Mykola Rudyk is fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian and understands Polish.
